This is a great place to stay when you have bucket list items to get done, like Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands etc. Our hostess was wonderful and very helpful. We had a great stay. The park is very well maintained and everything is conveniently located to facilitate one's stay.

We really liked this park and it was a great place to stay to explore the Black Hills and Badlands. The staff in the office were very friendly and helpful. It would have been nice if the office had a bit longer hours since we didn't have a chance to see what was in the store. The links provided in the check in email, which were links to videos describing various trips and sites to explore, were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Camped in our RV. Nice, clean park. Shower and laundry facilities were very clean. Great location, convenient for doing everything in the area. Very easy to get to. Employees were very pleasant. Most reasonable rates in the area. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful Passport America park, and that price is excellent for the amenities available,especially. It is very easy to access from the highway, check-in runs like a well-oiled machine. The showers are clean with amazing water pressure and perfect temp, and the laundry is very reasonably priced. The park itself is quiet; however, it is close to the highway, so road noise is very noticeable. Location is very good...easy to get to Keystone, the monuments, and Custer State Park. We had a wonderful time at Heartland! The sites were spacious and easy to pull into. The park itself has 3 separate laundry areas which was great. We used the pool and hot tub often - great addition to the park! The only negative was not having any designated parking at the laundry attached to the event center but nothing show stopping. Highly recommend for those with big rigs as well!
