Hearing test went fine. Everything indicated in network at that I should be able to use my health insurance to help pay for hearing aids. $500 deductible and the insurance pays 90% after the deductible. Hearing USA was trying to have me pay for the hearing aids without using the insurance. They were showing the $500 deductible 90/10 right on their screen as well. Needless to say, I’m going somewhere else for the hearing aids.
It has been 6 years since I was last at Hear USA, and was surprised that my prior hearing test was still in their records so I could see the changes in my hearing since then. I researched several other brands and found that their Widex brand is one of the top manufacturers. Their technology has improved greatly and is able to handle my declining hearing very well. Janae was very helpful in explaining the product and working with my concerns.
Very well done! Totally satisfied, until I experienced my first restaurant setting and discovered they are horrible. I couldn’t talk to my guest 2 feet away. Hopefully adjustments can be made, or these things are going back. 👎
I'm very pleased with the service I received from start to finish. This is my second pair of Hearing Aides with Hearing USA. This pair was a upgrade for me and I am in awe with my choice that I made. my 94 year old mother finally decided she needed hearing aids. Janea was great, she tested her and explained the results, then showed us all the options in hearing aids. When we received the them, she explained that there is process in getting used to them, could take a few weeks or months,that was good to know. We were very satisfied with everything.
