The audiologist Daisy Vivian was amazing. After doing the most thorough hearing test that I’ve ever had in my five year journey of hearing loss,, she then spent over an hour fitting and adjusting the hearing aids to be perfectly suited for me. She checked and re-checked until we were both satisfied with the fit and clarity. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has had poor results in the past with hearing aids because she goes the extra mile to make sure that the hearing aids will meet your needs.
I posted a positive review some time ago after my initial purchase and experience with Horizon IX and Daisy Vyvial, Au.D., who runs the HearUSA Sheridan office. The Horizon IX performs as they claim, the clarity is great, and the range of adjustments is excellent. Daisy just needed to correct a poor installation of the wax filter and related issues that were my fault. She also noted that I had cerumen in one ear, so I will see an ENT to correct it tomorrow. My experiences so far have been quite positive. The audiologist at the Hollywood office is terrific. She is caring and competent. I'm an old guy and I have had several hearing tests, but never one as comprehensive daisy. The national hearing place not so much. If you are dealing with them make sure you are able to be provided with a price and that you are happy with it. I was not afforded that option and I am not happy about it.
I have been very satisfied with the level personal phone support and the high technical quality of the products. after testing my first choice device I had no return issues. I am now testing a second product and testing it in different environments including concerts and very noisy diners.
As much as I don't want to admit I need hearing aids or would even consider wearing them, The audiologist was so helpful that I now have a test set in my ears. I'll report how I make my decision when I do.
