This is for the HearUSA in N. Ft. Myers. I purchased my aids in February 2025, The Audiologist was Kennedy, That went well, as did my next 2 visits with other providers for small problems. This time my problem was big. I made an appointment. I arrived at what seemed to me to be on time or a tad early. Went here over two years ago and another hearing specialist did the exam (very thorough) and recommended a basic (affordable) hearing aid. Never could quite get used to it. Stopped wearing it. Went back after receiving a card from them in the mail. I asked for a hearing exam (which is what the card offered) to see how my hearing (or lack of it, had progressed) and was told that no exam would be given unless I agreed in advance to arrange for a pair of aids up to what my insurance would cover. The technician was very knowledgeable about my Signa hearing aides. I just purchased an iPhone 17 pro max and she had to reprogram my hearing aids so that when I receive a phone call it answers thru my hearing aids saving me the additional step of clicking on speaker after I answer the phone. It was not like that until I received the new phone.
Nothing but good things to say about the North Fort Myers location! I tried over-the-counter hearing devices, which were terrible, and did more harm than good. I finally broke down and went to a professional! Renee evaluated my specific needs and set me up with a pair of Signia aids that have been life-changing for me! Highly recommend!
The representative who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had thought about buying OTC hearing aids but after this visit to HearUSA I have changed my mind.
