I was very impressed with my experience this time. When I first needed / got hearing aids. Several years ago, I met with a a lady who I felt wasn't right for this job. I will not go into details about THAT visit. THIS visit was an exact opposite. I was very impressed with her professionalism. The hearing test was preformed...explanations given. After attempting to purchase hearing aids at two different places in Portland, I have finally found Kaya at HearUSA on NE Broadway Street! I needed a biCROS system since I'm deaf in one ear and losing the higher frequencies in my "good" ear. Kaya explained everything very well. They mainly seem to sell the Signia brand, which has a good CROS system compared with other brands, and not as expensive as Phonak or Oticon. Kaya Freeman was very helpful in adjusting my hearing aid components and explaining the use, care & maintenance of the hearing aids. They hearing aids were dispensed by another provider a little over a year ago who did not provide accurate or useful information. I am glad I was able to change to Kaya. I highly recommend her! She is thoughtful & client focused.
I had an excellent visit yesterday. Kaya was very professional and listened very well. She answered all of my questions and adjusted my ear pieces which transformed them to be even better. Thank you very much!
