Reading the reviews for Hear USA Atlanta is crazy. I can't believe the positive reviews are talking about the same people I dealt with. I think because we went in knowing the discounted price from Humana and the fact that my Dad is 90 years old they don't want to be bothered. I have been w them for years, long before HEARUSA took over. I called today only to find Dr. Kilgore had left. Why wasn't I notified? Courtney said Dr. Ortiz would call me and explain why I couldn't get an appt until Sept. They are too busy. He didn't call and Courtney sounded exasperated w me. I just paid a lot of money for my Lyrics. It takes less than 2 minutes to change them. I am so scared I will lose my money. I am old and live out of town. No one else in Ga. has Lyric so I don't know what to do.
Worst experience ever! The audiologist refused to do a hearing exam for my 86 year-old mother, after sitting his the waiting room for an hour. Ortiz actually argued with me! Nope. Do it when she's closer to getting hearing aids.He insisted giving her a test was useless unless we bought hearing aids. My mom has dementia and is prone to losing them. My experience at Hear USA facility at 2140 Peachtree Road was great. Doctor of Audiology Chelsea at the centre was very knowledgable and try to attend the patients very diligently and make adjustments to the hearing aid to the best satisfaction of customers. I recommend all to visit this facility to resolve their hearing related problems. Thanks
Terrible experience at the Buckhead Atlanta location on 8/11/26. Mr. Ortiz jammed the testing device into my only hearing ear so hard, I squealed in pain. Told me that I shouldn’t get new hearing aids even though technology has improved since I got my current aids five years ago. Also said wasn’t eligible for new hearing aids, when my insurance indicates that I am. He never introduced himself, didn’t make eye contact, spoke with his eyes closed and made strange noises.
