The hearing test was fairly comprehensive compared to ones I've previously had. My only concern was that when I was trying to access this benefit, the Hear USA contact on the MedMutual site ONLY emphasized that I'd be able to get hearing aids at a reduced price without ever mentioning that the hearing test would be conducted & comprehensive & that I would be able to refuse hearing aids if they weren't needed, which they weren't. I don't like the "hard sell" approach being a new member of the MedMutual Medicare plan.
I had a great experience. McKenna my audiologist took time to explain everything about my new hearing aids. Ask often if I had any questions. Also Stacey at the front desk was very welcoming.
The doctor was very nice. She cleaned my hearing aids and installed new filters and tips, adjusted the hearing aid app on my phone, and tested the hearing aids. She said since she couldn’t do anything more for me, she wasn’t going to charge me! How often do you ever hear that? ;-)
HearUsa in Westerville always is waaaaaay better than my prior experiences with hearing aids and audiologists. Dr Dowdell listened attentively and programmed my hearing aids to suit my situation. Dr Dowdell squeezed me into the schedule the day before a trip so I could have correctly functioning hearing aids while with grandkids. Bravo!
Very pleasant and professional. All of my concerns and questions were answered. I was very satisfied with my visit.
