I have to say, if anyone thinks they will get any kind of mental health help at west Bloomfield behavioral clinic, please direct yourself to a different place. You are treated as if you are an inmate in state run clinic for people that are parole violators! Everything in the very nice new facility practically screams jail/prison. This place is a nightmare just like most HFHS mental health facilities. Horribly understaffed, staff act like you're pulling teeth just to get your basics taken care of (taking a shower, getting meds, or a change of scrubs). If you know you're going here, make sure you advocate for yourself.

This is for Andrew, my apologies for not knowing what department he is over, but I do know one thing I am thankful for him, he when over and beyond to get results done for my son, hee has no idea how thankful I ama of him right now. This hospital cares about your love one, the doctor are awsome, there is so much communication between doctors, nurses and the parent it's amazing. I thank God and Andrew for making this transfer happen. You definitely deserve a 100 stars. Thank you once again

If you like being mistreated by nurses and other staff members, then this is the place for you. I ended up leaving Henry Ford Behavioral Health worse off than when I went in.

Over all it was a positive experience I got discharged a day ago I got the help that I needed. there we some encounters with other patients that still give me the chills when I think about.
