I can see why Holy Cross Neuroscience has such a poor rating. They require you to see there own Dr to get a test order they won’t accept it from your independent doctor. Healthcare in Florida is just pathetic
My husband was seen by a neurologist on January 9, 2025. He had to subsequently have an MRI and various tests done all of which he completed by 2/17. We had to call the neurologist to have a follow up appointment and did so on 3/11 once all test reports were completed and submitted. We were told that that neurologist left and a new neurologist will be taking over. A visit day could not be given until July 16, 225. Today, I called looking for an appointment with Dr. Gustavo Alameda, the person on the phone, asked me what did I have, I explained to her I had an episode a couple of weeks ago and after seeing the cardiologist, he recommended to see a neurologist. She told me that Dr. Alameda did not treat my condition of "speech". So that person, on the phone did diagnose what the cardiologist did not do, when I could had had a mini-stroke? I made an appointment in early September. The earliest appointment they could give me was Dec 26. Today I got a call telling me the Dr won't be in and wanted to reschedule me for Feb 19. I would rather go to a practice that cares about their patients
