Our service department provides service to residential propane, heating oil and natural gas customers, and sells and installs furnaces, boilers, hot water heaters, air-conditioning and humidifiers.

We Love Hometown Energy! Our propane delivery driver is wonderful, great sense of humor. Hometown's pricing is competitive with most of the bigger "national" brands that deliver locally! If hometown's not your delivery service, then you have the wrong company!
Woke up to 19 degree weather and no heat! As this is our first winter living here in Newark New York we didn’t know how much propane we’d use as on Long Island we had oil. Called at 9am and spoke to a very helpful and curious agent! By 10:30 our heat was up and running again. Definitely excellent service
Sudden and large rate hikes without notification, with +33% this month and another 15% only ten days later. Usually, we plan to buy into a contract for the year and lock in rates. The sales rep was rude over the phone when inquiring about this. He said they do mail it. We have never received notification via mail after asking for this on multiple occasions. Back a few months ago I inquired about getting fuel oil from the Newark location. I filled out the app and waited for them to run my credit. Hearing anything back from them was taking too long so I decided to go with another company (it was over a couple weeks I waited). Once I established with this other company I called Hometown to ask if they already ran my credit, the answer was no and that they would destroy my app which had confidential information on it. My wife and I were out visiting my in-laws with temperatures in the mid-90s. Their central air was not working. My in-laws have used Hometowne Energy for years and always had good experiences. I witnessed their fast, efficient service when the technician, Christopher arrived. He quickly diagnosed the problem and completed the repair. Not only is Christopher qualified, but he is a very professional, nice individual to have in one's home. Great company and excellent service!
