Do not trust this place for psychiatric medication management. I was deep in the throes of PPD and trying different new medications when my nurse practitioner left to give birth without any heads up that she was even pregnant. Following that awful experience, I had a different NP who would miss appointments with no call. This nurse practitioner also ended up leaving the company. I attended some of the groups after my first son was born. I had a great experience and highly recommend to expecting/new moms!
The Mothers Without Mothers grief group at Honey has been a truly transformative space for my grief journey. As a mom of two who lost her own mother, it was such a relief to sit in a circle where everyone understood that particular kind of absence. I walked in feeling lonely and defeated, and left feeling seen, held, and part of a community that “gets it.” The group’s tone is warm, thoughtful, and gently guided. Every time I step foot in Honey it feels like returning home. Their groups are an incredible resource and have allowed me to build my own community of friendship in motherhood. There is no safer and more supportive space for moms than Honey. No judgement, no negativity, just LOVE!
As a new mom, I was so thankful to find community, support and knowledge within a newborn group at Honey. I looked forward to attending every week with my daughter and found so much comfort in connecting with others who were in the same season as me. I cannot recommend their newborn groups to moms in the Metro Detroit area enough.
