I would honestly give this place 0 stars if I could. It has been a constant disappointment since moving in. The property was over-promised and well under-delivered compared to what was advertised. The sauna hasn’t worked in over 8 months and no timeline on when it will work, which was one of the amenities that attracted me to the building in the first place. Moving to Horizon West was a great decision. I looked at a few places but had to go with this one. Amazing amenities, great environment and community and very friendly staff. I initially ran into some issues when getting ready to move here but Layne and his supervisor went above and beyond to help me get it resolved. I have not seen a downside to moving here and would absolutely recommend.
My family currently lives here & can’t wait to move as their packages have been stolen consistently. Just as a visitor, I have had my car broken into in the parking garage & things stolen from it! My father personally witnessed someone be jumped & robbed with a gun & left on the ground in the parking garage! When my family contacted the apartments to make them aware, they refused to let the other tenants know what happened or warn others.
To be honest, it’s been a less-than-great experience. We moved in being told we could use the amenities of the other buildings, which they then told us once we signed that wasn’t the case. A big reason we moved in was the sauna and cold plunge, but they never worked the entire summer. There is no warm water from the sink or in the shower, so I’ve had to resort to taking showers at my gym. All-in-all, do yourself a favor and don’t move in!
Honestly, it's just not very well taken care of. I love my unit, but it feels like management cares more about scheduling little "community events" that I don't think anyone wanted than actually fixing current issues. It's definitely been cleaned up a little in the past month, but there's little things that I think could be fixed. It would be nice if management felt more involved all the time, and not just when they want a good review.
