I can’t say enough great things about Houston Medical Assisting School - Katy location! From day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and inspired. I had a great experience at this school. My instructors, Emily and Terika, were amazing—so knowledgeable, supportive, and truly passionate about helping students succeed. They always made learning clear and encouraging. I also got along really well with my classmates, and we created a positive and motivating environment together. The hands-on training and support from both staff and peers made this school a perfect place to grow and prepare for my career. I'm really glad I chose this school!!
Instructors were great , I feel very confident stepping into the medical field! Cons would be inconsistent communication with advisors. I lost my job and wasn’t able to pay for school, after weeks of being ignored I finally was able to get my payments deferred. And I don’t like that there aren’t transferable credits if you wanted to do a bridge program later.
Horrible training and a complete waste of money. I paid for my family members to attend this school in hopes of investing in their future career, but the program offered nothing of value. The training is done in a borrowed chiropractic clinic, which has nothing to do with what students will actually face in the real world after graduation. Classes are only four hours, once a week on Saturdays.
