I have been going to Dr Nersesyan for years. He has been the only physician that has taken the time to listen to my 30 year history of migraines. Yes, he had me keep a migraine journal which was helpful to me...I never actually recorded how many migraines I had in one month. He did not offer me opiates like my PCP had given me for many years, but routine medication taken daily that would PREVENT the migraines from occurring in the first place, and YES they have been working for approx. 8 years now. I even went for Botox ther... read more

ive read the reviews and we have had a different experience. He doesn't do a lot of small chat but he is very professional and is very good to my daughter. I have never had him say or do anything to say otherwise. We have been going there for 2 years now.

I am filing an official complaint with OSF this is the first time I have ever done this with a Dr. But my experience was so bad. He did not read my chart at all before entering the room if he had he wouldn't have started off by asking if I was breastfeeding I had already told the RN that I was not. He walked in and said "so you are breastfeeding" confused I said no cause I had already told them that I wasn't. He went on to say "oh why aren't you breastfeeding" in a very rude prying tone. In my opinion the why wasn't needed I... read more

This man is hateful and rude. He insulted my daughter. He told her she was too heavy...actually told her back wasn't swollen it was just fat. He also told her she was pain pill dependent and she needed to go to a

This is the rudest, most unprofessional doctor I've ever encountered, and I am a retired healthcare professional. He has no compassion; rants an raves; disparages the rest of your healthcare team. And he doesn't really care about or have anytime for you. You are just an insurance check to him and that is all. His staff are really cold and unfriendly. What is apparent is that this "doctor" is suffering from a severe mood disorder, and he seriously needs to be seen, evaluated, and medicated by someone outside of his little "gr... read more

I am a retired healthcare professional from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. I know what quality healthcare is; and I know what it is NOT. I was also a pharmaceutical rep from Bristol-Myers Squibb, and I do know my doctors' offices. I had been in pain with headaches for a year and had waited 3 months for this appointment. Nersesyan has the worst bed-side manner of any physician I've met. He immediately told me that I was opiate dependent; needed a pain doctor (isn't that what headache doctors treat?); was EXTREMEL... read more

he was a completly hateful man... had kept a headache journal which he torn apart...said he couldn't help me and referred me to a "pain" doctor. he described very painful, archaeic methods to deal with my pain including severing the nerves...he had me in tears each time I saw him.

I would never go back to Dr. Nersesyan if he was the last doctor out there. I went into his office on crutches, after being out of commission, dealing with chronic pain for years, I was looking for a neurologist who could help give me some relief. He never examined me, never wanted to run any tests or see any of my former test results, and said that I needed to go to rehab because I was taking too much vicodin & that's why I had migraines, even though I hadn't taken pain medicine for months because they weren't helping me.
