Do you wanna be filmed while using the restroom? If you do then go here..I went there this morning looking to get drug counseling. They asked me to take a urine test. I had no problem with taking the urine test. I walk in the bathroom and there is a sign above the toilet that says camera in use and right above the toilet is a camera filming you while your in the bathroom. Best clinic in the area. I've been to soar and Aldi where they treat you like a number. I'm very happy with Huntingdon valley and the staff is excellent from nurses to counselors.
Things I've seen in the past week are just unthinkable. No phone calls to patients to let them know there is no nurse, you will not be receiving your medication. Then another day open 3 and half hours late, when people waited in line for hours only to be kicked out the door . This morning a guy that was kicked out on Friday, was told that his dose was cut in half today. This place caused many people to throw away their sobriety and wouldn't be surprised if they caused a death.
Discovery house is by far the worst clinic that I’ve ever been to if it would allow me to, I would Give it negative stars . But if you like zero communication, zero respect and to be treated like you’re nothing but a dirty drug addict then I guess you would call this a good place. Neither of the doctors will communicate with you and the nurses will just give you attitude and call you a nasty person. I have been a patient here for 10+ years, this clinic has always been there for me. I’ve relapsed and returned here at least 3 times and I would recommend it to anyone. Most of the Staff, counselors, etc are also in recovery and have a significant amount of clean time, which is important to me because they’ve been where I am and can relate to me.
