Discovery house is by far the worst clinic that I’ve ever been to if it would allow me to, I would Give it negative stars . But if you like zero communication, zero respect and to be treated like you’re nothing but a dirty drug addict then I guess you would call this a good place. Neither of the doctors will communicate with you and the nurses will just give you attitude and call you a nasty person. I have been a patient here for 10+ years, this clinic has always been there for me. I’ve relapsed and returned here at least 3 times and I would recommend it to anyone. Most of the Staff, counselors, etc are also in recovery and have a significant amount of clean time, which is important to me because they’ve been where I am and can relate to me.
I have been a patient here for 20+ years and have seen this clinic change directors, counselors, nursing and security. I have been treated by all with dignity and respect. As in all walks of life, you get back what you put in and if you carry yourself with dignity you shall be treated as a person deserving of dignity. I have found some wonderful counselors over the years here and have worked through some difficult issues with their guidance. If you have to work early, don't come here because you will lose your job and no one cares.
I feel you shouldn't leave a bad review especially if you're still there and you're one of the ones who used to sell your dose. You get what you put into your recovery you don't just go get dosed and like magic you're healed, there's groups even if it's over the phone it's still a group. If you can't figure out what your triggers are you'll never get better you'll always numb your pain.
