In 1973, Hyde Park’s CEO & founder Michael Pollak began his venture into the jewelry business by selling turquoise and American Indian pieces. His first “store” was the lawn of the University of Denver, where he attended school and completed his degree in retail merchandising. While in school, Michael had met Steve Rosdal who had recently moved to Colorado, and soon became Michael’s sole supplier.
