Some of the other ICCU locations seem to not be as highly reviewed. Thankfully, for me, the Star Branch is, well, a star. My wife and I just moved to Star. I came in today to become a new member. I have belonged to credit unions for over 30 years and have always appreciated the service they provide. ICCU is about a half mile from my home, very convenient for me. The manager at the Star, ID branch is amazing! He called me to discuss a problem I was having and I feel he is the epitome of customer service!
Slowest location out of all of them. Have had a few mistakes as well with cashing checks a couple times now.
Did a HELCO through them, it has been an awful and frustrating experience. 1st time signing, my husband got called back 3 times, each time after he had left the building, because something wasn't done right. Only to have that signing not count at all. They failed to tell us that I needed to come in and also sign paperwork, even though I wasn't on the HELOC. Told us we could use the bill pay feature, to access the HELCO....we couldn't. Told me that I was on the loan now and could come into the branch and pick up the debit ca... read more
If you like paying money for cashier's checks or print a sheet of checks, then you would probably give this a 5 star. ICCU used to be the home-town friendly fee-less bank, now it feels like US Bank, BofA, or Chase. btw, i asked if the fee could be waived, and then they told me why it cost money. im not sure the manager understands how they make money, but it's by me storing my money there, so actually you make more than any fee you could charge me by storing my money.
