My visit I felt comfortable with the staff all were very good at their jobs. Dr. Shepherd explained everything that was happening with my eye and also gave me the information I needed if I need to have surgery.
Very much enjoy Dr. Shepherd. She take the time to explain things clearly. Soes not try and rush you into surgery and provides many options for a healthy outcome.
I was initially referred to Illinois Retina Associates by my ophthalmologist in Miami at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which is ranked number one year after year in the country. So I became rather familiar with what top eye care consists of. While IRA does not provide the depth of expertise as I have been used to, for what I need IRA does a very credible provision of services and I am satisfied with my treatment there.
Dr did a great job was calm competent explained to me what was going on with my retina and lazered it on the same day! Really pleased with the appointment.
Dr Shepherd is an outstanding Physician. She takes the time to be thorough and understand the patient as a person. I couldn’t recommend anyone higher.
