I had an excellent experience with Dr. Shepard and her office. Her staff was very competent and made sure to move everything along very smoothly. And she did a great job of explaining to me what was going on and gave me some good assurances.

This was a second opinion visit and I’m satisfied with the diagnosis. Although Dr Shepard had a surgery scheduled, they got me in same day due to my condition. This office will provide follow up care for my PVD and I’m confident that I’m in good hands.

They found an appointment for me quickly. Kind and thoughtful office staff and medical assistants. Dr. Shepherd is clear with explanations and thorough with the exam. She has a great way of helping the layperson understand and ease worry.

Illinois Retina is a really well run office and they efficiently onboarded me through all of the various processes. Dr. Shepherd took time to listen to me and explain the procedures and diagnosis. I feel like I am in good hands and my predicament feels a lot less scary.
