Went in for a routine eye exam and was impressed by the timeliness of the office in general. Everyone I met with, from the technician, nurse, and doctor were professional, courteous, caring, and on time. The office runs like a well oiled machine. My exam was thorough and Dr.Cohen spent a reasonable amount of time with me. He was descriptive during the eye exam and put my mind at ease by explaining as he was conducting the exam. He has a great demeanor. I recommend Dr.Cohen and Illinois Retina Associates
Dr. Cohen and his staff are truly the best. Doctor is knowledgeable and caring. I trust him and have been his patient for a long time. He also took care of my mom. Highly recommend him. 5 stars not enough as he deserves more. Linda Kosh is his patient and writing this review.
Dr. Cohen is the best eye surgeon, I’ve ever had!! He is Great!! I couldn’t have had any better care!! I had a cataract lens come out of place, and a torn retina. His surgery was a complete success!! I couldn’t be happier!! He has a wonderful bed side manner. I love the man, for what he did for me.
Dr. Cohen is the absolute BEST! Unbelievably experienced, reassuring and kind. Takes the time to explain issues, problems and possible solutions. Always recommends conservative treatment first with no pressure. Amazing bedside manner, compassion and follow up. He called frequently to check on me post surgery and always responds quickly to calls and questions. He also knows exactly how to handle my anxiety and make me feel better and well cared for. A++++++
He is not my doctor. He is my father's. But I take my dad every month to his appointments. He loves this doctor, why we drive out so far to see him. My father gets a shot in his eye for wet AMD every 7weeks. He says of all the doctors he has been to get the shot in his eye. This doctor has the magic touch. The shot doesn't hurt . I have spoken with Dr Cohen, he is very friendly and personable. Great sense of humor and very knowledgeable about my father's condition.
