Dr. Cohen is the absolute BEST! Unbelievably experienced, reassuring and kind. Takes the time to explain issues, problems and possible solutions. Always recommends conservative treatment first with no pressure. Amazing bedside manner, compassion and follow up. He called frequently to check on me post surgery and always responds quickly to calls and questions. He also knows exactly how to handle my anxiety and make me feel better and well cared for. A++++++
Where do I start… Im biased because this man restored my sight back perfect after a couple significant retina tears due to a detached retina after cataract surgery ! He rushed me in to have same day surgery and made me feel 100% at ease from the beginning to the end. The follow ups and scheduled follow ups are fantastic from the staff all the way to when we see Dr Cohen who is just an enormous ball of energy and enthusiasm! I highly recommend Dr Cohen. Everything about my appointment was good. The staff was courteous and kind. I was taken on time and escorted to each of the several rooms for various eye exams.
I’ve been going to Illinois retina Associates for many years. My experiences have always been positive. I never have to wait more than 5 or ten minutes. They are always on time. The doctor and his assistants are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you ask. I have full confidence that I am receiving eye care from the number one eye specialist in Illinois
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Cohen. The office was efficient, and Dr. Cohen was not only extremely knowledgeable but also had a fantastic bedside manner. They were able to accommodate me quickly for an urgent issue, and everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful. As a physician myself, I have high standards when it comes to seeing specialists.
