Great experience. Dr Civantos was patient in listening to my extensive medical history and had a very frank conversation with me about options and timelines. We also had a good dialogue where he understood my concerns about different avenues of treatments. I am incredibly satisfied with my interaction and planned courses of treatment.
It is so very stressful, anticipating the thought of getting a needle shot into your eye. The doctor and his staff, we’re all incredible and after going for my second shot to inject medicine into my eyeball to help Repair the blood vessels in my Retina., I was again relieved to say it was not as bad as I had anticipated. It would be. Dr Civantos has a gentle and magic touch
I will say, when I first called for an appointment, I spoke to someone who was so unhelpful and off putting. I was very disturbed by this interaction. I called my sister who had recommended Dr. Pollack and explained my experience. She was so surprised. She said, call back; she thought it was likely a call center interaction. It was. Dr Civantos is excellent at his work. He breaks things down into simple to understand terms and he and the staff are pleasant and thorough. Great experience every time.
