Dr. Civantos and his staff are welcoming, punctual (why can’t all doctors be punctual, and not keep their patients waiting for long periods?) and thorough. Dr. Civantos spends whatever time is needed to answer questions and explain what he sees. This time, I had only one question which worried me and he explained what was going on with my eyes, leaving me with great peace, taking away my worries.
Got there early, tested and seen by doctor and on my way home in 45 minutes. Very efficient even though waiting room was almost full.! Plus, and most importantly, a very thorough and comprehensive explanation of my current AMD condition and choice of treatment.
Office busy with patients. Staff was friendly and efficient. Had eyes/retina scanned, photographed, checked for issues, dilated before speaking to Opthalamologist. Doctor was patient & thorough. Answered all my questions on eye health, diet, & exercise. Happy to recommend!!
Doctor was easily approachable and answered all my questions directly. We had some challenges getting information from my other doctors before we could proceed with surgery, and he personally intervened, calling me after hours directly to understand and resolve the situation. His office manager, Teri, went above and beyond to clear all the administrative hurdles and make it possible to perform surgery on very short notice. I am ever thankful for all they did.
It is so very stressful, anticipating the thought of getting a needle shot into your eye. The doctor and his staff, we’re all incredible and after going for my second shot to inject medicine into my eyeball to help Repair the blood vessels in my Retina., I was again relieved to say it was not as bad as I had anticipated. It would be. Dr Civantos has a gentle and magic touch
