Joseph Civantos is not only a great Doctor but a even a greater human being, a person who truly cares. There are some really good positive vibes when he is around you, he makes you feel so comfortable with his touch and care. I am really blessed to be under the care of such a great care giver. It is very rare to find such Doctors today. I feel I am blessed to be under Dr Civantos care.
Illinois Retina Associates is a very busy office but it's run very efficiently and everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Civantos is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything. My husband is always treated with respect by Dr. Civantos and his staff.

I have been treated by Dr. Civantos since I moved into the neighborhood several years ago. I find Dr. Civantos and his staff to be very professional and thorough with their exams which is very important since I have had surgery for a detached retina. I am very confident and feel I can rely on him for a comprehensive annual exam or any issues that may occur in between.
The visits with my fathers doctor are always excellent! Doctor Cevantis is kind, caring, and never rushed. During our wait, the program on the t.v. (the view) was offensive to me, and I went to the receptionists and asked politely if they could please put on a neutral program. I was told that they can not touch the t.v. So I asked if they could turn it off and was told the same thing. One gal said she could call her boss, so I said ok and thank you.
