I could not be happier with the treatment I received from Dr Sabherwal. He is friendly, professional and thorough. He explained everything about my treatment to me in terms I could understand. He reassured me he would be there every step of the way and was a simple phone call away if I had concerns. I could not ask for better care.
Excellent care. Be prepared for about 2.5 hours time for an exam. They have high volume yet manage to be efficient as there are stages of assessment prior to consultation. If you need eye surgery these doctors are superb. My chosen surgeon was fully booked next month so he referred my to his colleague who scheduled me out three weeks ahead. All together, it took five hours to schedule a surgery and it was worth my time to get the best outcome. I'll give a follow-up to this review one week after my procedure.

I've been a patient at Illinois Retina Associates for almost a decade. I don't trust my eyesight and eye health with just anyone. Dr. Sabherwal is an exceptional physician and a really cool cat. He has a great report with his patients and has a calming effect with his approach to whatever eye issue his patients present with. He's aces in my book.
Ive had quite a journey with one of my eyes, having a retina that has detached three times. So ive been in the office a lot. The team is always so friendly and welcoming. They call me by nane and multiple nurses always pop in and say hello. The office is always crazy busy and there are times its takes a long time, but they move people thru very efficiently and I appreciate the personal nature of the entire team.
