My first time seeing Dr Ravage but not my first time at office… I guess the previous MD left not sure what happened. My appt was at 10:35, they called me in at 10:40 and did the pre eye exam lasted approximately 15min… waited in waiting room again was called to see MD @. 11:40 (45min later) waited in exam room another 10 mi. He came in , no introduction, no apologies for the long wait, not even a Thank You for your patience NOTHING!! The exam lasted 15 min. I left wondering.. what just happened?? Terrible bedside manner! I have been going to Dr. Ravage for almost 15 years now and am very happy and confident to have him take care of my eyes. As far as I am concerned, he is the BEST! I must mention that his assistants and office staff are so professional and helpful.
I highly recommend the doctors and staff at IL Retina. Dr. Sam Minaker literally saved my vision. Although he recently moved out of State, my follow-up visit was with Dr. Ravage at the Libertyville location, who was also very kind and thorough. The wait times can be a bit long, but I can only attribute this to their high level of expertise and popularity. I would trust IL Retina with any macular or retinal surgical needs going forward. There is not one thing this whole office could have done to make my experience any better. From making my appointment to begin my visit to the time of leaving, everyone was wonderful. Dr. Ravage was very thorough and professional, going over everything. Truly blessed to have been referred to them!
