Went to Franciscan ER approx 11 months ago; never received a bill for this Company. Instead, we received many calls from a Collection agency nearly 9 months after the visit. We later discovered that this was for the FRANCISCAN ER Bill that we never received. This bill was $128. Yes, we have INSURANCE and Presented said Insurance. Contacting this company using several emails found goes nowhere. Still no response over 2 weeks now. This is nothing new for this company. This has happened once before approx 5 years ago.
Same as everyone else. They refuse to even try to properly submit the claim to insurance. Foreign call center - English is a second langauge. They keep claiming the info was wrong, or some other excuse that is a lie. I really encourage everyone to contact the attorney general about this because it smells like a scam.
June 2025: I wish I could give zero stars. They send random links through text message that get identified as phishing and just continue to send them over and over. They will acknowledge, when called, that no one should be clicking unknown links especially with medical information but they do nothing to change their system or send out paper bills. Then, when you call to make a payment the process takes significantly more time than any other health care provider.
Why aren't there negative stars ? After calling 4 times with insurance information asking repeatedly if they had the information was told I gave the wrong number 1st, then I told them the wrong provider. The girl asked for billing address how did I give you wrong information. Now being told they pay with out a payee number.. never even heard of this
Scam-scam-scam!! I had a heart scan done at St. Vincent‘s Ascention and was told that it was a $74 fee inclusive as part of heart month in February. To my surprise several weeks later I received a text message from radiology partners crossroads that I owed them $700 for evaluating my scan! They noted if I would pay it within a week, my bill is only $555. I called St. Vincent’s and they said this is incorrect That the fee is exactly what it was presented to be $74 all inclusive.
