Second visit now, seems ok so far however..On the first visit it was booked online with a time slot, they said might be long time as we're busy. Second time, booked a time slot and delivered the car and again they said could be 2 hours as they didn't know car was coming in. Shouldn't advertise time slots online if they cannot accommodate the service that day and time. Especially when looking for quick service and same day.
(That garage is very doggie I write a comment before a days and they deleted so I will put again here) I visited your garage before couple of days about a noise from my car and was told the belt was split. Because you were short-staffed, I was advised it was safe to drive to another garage. Shortly after, the car broke down in the middle of the road and I lost my brakes, only managing to stop with the handbrake. This advice put my life and others at serious risk. 2020 Update: Still a great place with friendly staff who dont force unnecessary expense when none is needed. Just had a service and MOT done with little fuss. Great offer and service done with little fuss. Also a free valet was a very nice touch at the end. Will be using them again.
Had my MOT booked in for today and received a text this morning saying they’ve had to cancel it due to staff sickness. Not very ideal as my MOT expires on Monday and it’s now Saturday and I work Monday - Friday hence why I’d booked and paid for it in advance for the weekend. I called and was put through to a lady in the call centre who said couldn’t do anything about it and said I’d receive a refund in 10 days.
I had a service and MOT. The MOT failed, the guy said that i needed a replacement part and to come back Monday to get a price on it as the system was down (was a Saturday). When i went back on Monday they told me I had to pay £60 for them to look at my car and give a price on the part it needed. Felt to me that that they're asking me to pay twice to get a diagnosis.
