My husband has been going to Innovage Lakewood for two years. He really likes the facility and the staff there. I believe this is one of the better locations based on some of the other reviews I have read. I like it because I can go to work and feel he is safe and good hands. It is very convenient that they pick him up and bring him home and saves me a lot of time. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because communication could be better within the organization and caregiver but small issue compared to getting good care.
Our Dad has been apart of the program since before the pandemic. But since the pandemic, the quality of care has drastically decreased. Not only was there not any available day program centers available for him but he has not been seen by an "innovage approved" Doctor since the beginning of this year and his health keeps deteriorating! Furthermore, theses so called "Innovage Approved" long term facilities are a joke. They are litterly the worst rated facilities in Denver! The idea of the program is good. However this center hires garbage runs. They're rude to patients and family nor like to do the required tasks per contracts. The head of the nurses is rude and doesnt follow up with anything. When you run out of meds it takes between 3 days to a month to receive the refills. If you have no other options for day centers then use this one.
This medical facility is not for the public. You must be a registered participant. It is for the elderly. They take care of your medical needs and send you to specialist if you need them. They are the participants primary care physician.They also provide social interactions for the elderly like making puzzles or watching a big screen TV or playing the radio or having guest speakers. I interviewed at this company. Never received a response back from them. I would never recommend them for services.
