InnovAge is fantastic alternative for the elderly in our are to get the help at home they need, so they can stay at home. Transitioning to an assisted living or long term care facility can be trivial for them and in some cases, their family too. They also offer a great way for people of the same demographic to come together and share time with each other a few days a week with the PACE program. I work closely with Innovage Pace at the Assisted Living I work for. I have nothing but good things to say. Everyone from the clinical staff to the social workers to the therapists to the drivers are top notch. They go out of their way to make sure their residents at my AL are happy and well taken care of. This is a great organization with staff that genuinely care.
As someone who has worked with seniors for 20+ years in Roanoke, I can say InnovAge PACE provides a vital service to the aging in our community. Transporting folks to the location—as many cannot drive—is key to the success of the program. I started working at PACE in Roanoke during 2016 and have enjoyed seeing how much the program has grown over the years. It's wonderful to see how much the participant's enjoy socializing in the day center! Keeping individuals in their homes makes them so happy!
Innovage was a life saver when my father had multiple medical concerns. They combined his Medicare and Medicaid and added additional coverage on top so he could get new dentures and vision care 100% covered. They also helped when things got even harder and I needed help finding him a long-term care facility in the beginnings of the COVID pandemic.
