I liked this place to begin with, they WERE nice. Everything went ok, until.... my tooth was pulled. Granted I don't have the best teeth. I've had two bouts of malnutrition from hiatal hernia needing feeding tubes, had gastric sleeve 12 years ago, and didn't have dental insurance for a good portion of my 20's, (46). I have bone loss, receding gums ect. Once my tooth was pulled, after a crowned root canal that went bad from exactly 1 year ago, in one pull. I hear from the Doctor "love periodontal!" to the nurse. Everyone we encountered at our 2 visits were so helpful and kind. My 10 year old was scared and they allowed him to set the pace and allowed me to come back until he was relaxed. The communication was fantastic the entire way through, including calling later the same day to check on him and make sure we didn't have any needs. I HIGHLY recommend this office if you need oral surgeons. We utilized the office on Euclid Ave in Des Moines. Thank you all so much!!
I have severe dental anxiety. People made me feel welcomed. The nurse, Jeff, was funny and helped ease my anxieties. I had a post for an implant put in and Dr. Harvey was quick and kind. I hope I never need to go back there (after my follow up and all of course) 😅 but if I do it wouldn't be the end of the world. Thanks for being kind, quirky, and quick!
This was an exceptionally great experience for having a tooth pulled! I was informed of every step by Dr. Harvey and his assistant was very helpful. I highly recommend Iowa Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons!
Such a great experience. My daughter had all four of her wisdom teeth removed and the entire process was smooth and easy from the consultation to the day of the procedure. Everyone there was super kind and informative. I would highly recommend!
