We purchased a DNA sexing test for our cockatiel after being told at the pet store that the bird was likely female. Amazing experience. I got my son a bird for Christmas and ordered the testing kit the day after Christmas on Amazon. It comes with clear directions and everything needed to collect the feathers or to clip the nail for blood. I clipped the nail and went the blood route. Mailed it on the 27th and had the results by Jan 5th. You alsp get a certificate to download. Very happy with the quality and speed. Would recommend to anyone with a bird needing to be sexed.
Customer service rep Andre was absolutely fantastic. Andre helped me throughout the process step by step to make sure I submitted the correct samples and to make sure my samples were processed correctly. I even changed the test multiple times but Andre was patient and provided excellent service. Thank you Andre and IQ Bird Testing!!!!! I will use this lab again.
A+ company! I have now used IQ 3 times for my Green Cheek Conures and results were very fast! I do not recommend using the United States post office to send samples with as they may take weeks to get there. IQ Bird testing did really well and even accepted new DNA samples for Miss Rosie At no extra cost, as the first feathers did not contain enough DNA. 100% recommend
