We took our daughter for her first ever dental visit. I was super nervous she'd freak out and not let them do anything. But from the moment we walked in my mind was at ease. The waiting area was kid friendly, the staff was super kind, the dental hygienist took her time and showed my daughter everything, explained what it was, let her touch things, etc. My daughter had ZERO issues. I have been so nervous to take my kids to the dentist because I knew the recommendation was going to be more than I was comfortable with. It’s clear that the new dentist at this office and the entire staff & dental team actually care and understand where you are coming from. No pressing you to do things you’re not comfortable with, and they are amazing with the kids! So grateful for the care we are receiving.
I took my 5yr old for her first dentist visit. She was very nervous and the hygienist calmed her right down and was so gentle and kind. The dentist then came in and talked with her through the whole exam and she did great! She now loves the dentist and cannot wait to go back.
I have two kids that go to this dentistry. One is a 9 year old special needs child. She’s on the autism spectrum. She has good visits where everything goes smoothly and other visits where she needs to be coached through all procedures. She gets anxious and nervous, but the staff handles my kiddo beautifully. I love all the staff at Children’s Ironwood Dentistry. They are always able to talk her though the x-rays (no other dentist has been able to do that) and get her teeth cleaned. As a parent- From checking in to checking out the whole experience was wonderful. The staff made the new patient process simple, quick and efficient! My kiddo was nervous to go to the dentist. She expressed her relief that “it wasn’t too bad.” Haha The tv screens above the exam chairs made it easier. A token for a prize at the end , definitely encouraged a positive attitude towards her follow up visit. Thank you to all the staff at Ironwood children’s dentistry.
