They will rip you off slowly! We have 2 storage units with this company. They arbitrarily raised rents without the proper legal notice. Without ANY notice at all! They could care less when you call them. Started off with the first unit, which we have had since 2019, rent started at $100. It is now $350! Second, which I’ve only had for 2 years, slowly went from $110 to $147. They did it slowly and without notice. Easy, convenient, flexible, and most importantly reliable place to store. The rental process takes maybe 10 minutes over the phone. My boyfriend and I recently moved most of our stuff and his very extensive garage into several large units here while we find a more permanent place. Eric the property manager has been nothing but helpful, understanding, flexible. Eric was very helpful and ran me through all of the options when I needed to change to a different unit size. He was super friendly, very clear, and thoroughly explained the process and email confirmations I would receive.
As many people have mentioned here, customer service here is terrible both at the local level and when you try to reach their customer care line. False advertising and disingenuous business practices all around. All they care about is stealing your money. We recently signed on to a promotion of one month free and booked one of the larger units with them and two months later they still have not applied the one month free credit. Never have I left a review for a service/ restaurant/ retail establishment up until I needed a local storage facility asap. It was early evening when I started the search and MOOVE IN SELF STORAGE was the third call I made and first to actually answer the phone (around 7-8pm). Within 15 minutes I had two units rented as well as my passcodes for gated entry, the next day I showed up and got everything moved into both units and was amazed with all aspects of their operation. I’d recommend 100%
