Edit 1/22/26: I have increased my 1-star to 3 stars BUT ONLY BECAUSE OF SONIA! Let me be clear, Sonia is 10 stars if I could give it. She's extremely helpful and attentive, has helped me and my sister navigate consolidation of units based on size needs and is just always is willing to help no matter how frustrated I become from the parent company. Back again as their predatory pricing increases continue. My last post was about the $100 rent increase after just getting an increase less than a year prior to that. Well I found a larger unit for almost the same price and moved over Labor Day weekend (September 2025). I got a notice this weekend that my rent will be going up Dec 1 by $40 - less than 90 days after I moved units. The employees are great but the company has exploitive practices: I've been here nearly 5 years and there's been a property change where everything has gone downhill gradually over the past 2 years. The caliber of individuals renting has also changed but it's more so the unexpected guests (pests) that started showing up. Meanwhile rent prices can randomly jump as much as $100 without notice and although YOU stay for convenience, it's inevitable that you're being taken advantage of. I have been renting a storage unit here for 3 years. Today as my movers were moving some stuff out I had the worst experience I've had in a while with customer service. My movers had propped the door open and apparently the "manager" came and told them to keep it closed. So then I stood at the door to open and close it because it automatically locks.
