Done with j coates class 2 and class 1. Staff is brilliant, instructors are brilliant, passed my class 2 from first. Now, for class 1 they don't have a designated area like the test center, is just improvisation and this will reduce your chances massively. I was reversing on their area and when i had my test failed miserably on reversing, even with 2 shunts. I recommend them for class 2 but not for class 1 as long they can't provide a reversing area similar with thest centre one. Now i have to pay £600 to have a retest and 4... read more

I was in search of local bus driving schools to take my CAT D test, and despite having no prior experience with J Coates, I must say that it is undoubtedly the top driving school in the UK. I passed my test on the first attempt, and I owe my success to Mr. John, my instructor, and Chris, the Sales Director at J Coates. Their expertise and guidance were instrumental in helping me achieve my goal.

Couldn't give a higher recommendation. J coats helped me sail though my cat C course. Steve Mcnamara my instructor was fantastic always explained everything an was very calming helped me get over my nervous . I had a Great experience training with him. Thank you. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm just searching through local schools for taking my class 2 and came across the 1 star review below, although I have no experience with J Coates I don't think it's fair that they'd get overlooked by people who won't check why it's 1 star. I have heard good things about them.
