well made Plumbed my pool pumps in with these well made check valves
Worth every penny I tried to save money by replacing the original Jandy valve with a 1.5 “ check valve. The 1.5 hp pump couldn’t suck it fully open, restricting the Water flow by 1/2. After Cutting everything back out and installing the above valve, the return pressure to the pool is now flowing perfectly. Lesson learned!
Easy to chznge flap when it wears out. Provides cutoff for backflow between chlorinator and heater. It will prevent heater coil corrosian.

Bulletproof I was a swimming pool contractor many years ago, and we used these all the time. I have two on my own pool, and they're almost 15 years old. I did change out the flapper assembly in both recently, but they're still going strong. I bought this one because a tiny drip has developed in the plumbing it's attached to (not the valve itself). You can gut the unit and not have to replace the entire valve. Exactly what I was looking for to repair mine.
