Great quality no leaking I first went with a less expensive model when my old check valve started failing and my hot tub would drain slowly overnight. That was an error, from day one it leaked I tried sealants etc to no avail. I decided to pay extra to buy this Jandy model and it was worth it. I like how one model can fit either 2 inch or 1.5 inch PVC pipes. It works perfectly and no more slow draining of the hot tub overnight. Replaced broken pentair valve we lost in the ice storm After the Texas winter storm, my pentair check valve and other components cracked. I could not find these parts anywhere and the pool companies could not come out to fix it. I found this part on Amazon, ordered it after making sure it was compatible. Worth every penny I tried to save money by replacing the original Jandy valve with a 1.5 “ check valve. The 1.5 hp pump couldn’t suck it fully open, restricting the Water flow by 1/2. After Cutting everything back out and installing the above valve, the return pressure to the pool is now flowing perfectly. Lesson learned!
Easy to chznge flap when it wears out. Provides cutoff for backflow between chlorinator and heater. It will prevent heater coil corrosian.
