Works Great! Cheaper! Greater Tolerance in Salt Levels! I have owned Pool Frog and another brand of chlorinators. And to date this is the best of the three. My pool is sparkling clear and I now get to sleep in the afternoons rather than clean the pool

It's easy to install I've installed this unit on pools ranging from 5,000 gallons up to 28,000 gallons. It's easy to install, simple to operate and maintain, and sells for a very reasonable price. An added bonus is its ability to be wired 120v or 240v without toggling a switch or moving jumpers.

Nice system with a reasonable install Simple install, no leaks, and virtually eliminates the need for additional chemicals. Be aware you will need to do light electrical work, and pick up the needed materials accordingly, so plan for some additional expense based on your individual setup. This unit does reccomend a higher ppm of salt than others, but what sold me is replacement parts are currently readily available. Just getting started on this type of setup, but typical element life seems to be 3-5 years, and this will be the most reasonable to replace when needed. Also added Borate to our pool as a stabilizer, and the water has been just gorgeous since install was completed. Go to toublefreepool.com for more detailed information regarding borate use. PH does seem to climb a bit through use (pool goes basic due to additional pump run time and resulting aeration) requiring Muratic Acid to be added periodically. Seems to take about 2-3 weeks though for levels to climb enough to have to add acid. May stabilize further in the future as we did do a partial drain and refil to get CYA levels into an acceptable range.

Love it! This Salt Generator works like you would expect it to. I have it set for my pool size and never ever have to worry about the chlorine! It's really saved my lots of money already since I don't have to buy liquid or chlorine tabs. The first time I turned it on it did take about 30 minutest before the error messages disappeared off of the display. I balanced my salt and let my filter run 24 hours a day for 3 days before turning it on per my pool company's recommendation.

finally happy with my pool What a difference this system has made And installation was very easy. My old salt system was a zodiac lm 24 Which had an inlet and a outlet. I had to replumb the pvc to install this unit but if your even a little handy it won't be had to do. All the parts needed for installation are inclued even the hole saw thats needed to drill the ports for the cell. We have had it in use for about 4 weeks now with no problems.
