Since installing the CL580, ourpool is crystal clear. No more backwashing the old sand filter and then having to add pool water. It's an excellent filter.

The filter is well built and looks easy to service. However, my installation is too recent to clean or even check the filter cartridges.

Leaks at the band when I start pump then stops. Happens all the time. Reset O ring and re grease and still happens

Casting on original filter cracked in two places on seams after 7 years. Looks to be manufacturing issue. Out of warranty so cost me over $1800. Fingers crossed this replacement lasts longer.
