Works great Our first lasted 20 years this one should to.
My Pool Guy Says This is a Good One We purchased this at the request of our pool guy and he installed it. We were replacing an older, worn-out Hayward cartridge diatomaceous earth filter which lasted over 10 years. All I can say is it cuts down on my monthly expenses (since it doesn't require earth), my pool guy loves it, just hoping it lasts as long as the previous one.

Call a Plumber We bought this thinking it would be an exact replacement of our old CL580 since they were the exact same model. WRONG!!! The fittings on the new filter system are larger than the old model. We had to call a pool repair company that specializes in Jandy products (Zodiac) to replumb. There were no retro-fit parts at the big box stores for us to do it ourselves. The unit works fine otherwise
This will not easily replace older model I ordered this to replace an existing Jandy CL580 that had a crack in the bottom. I wasn't able to just replace the bottom because Jandy discontinued the part. Obviously there was a problem with cracking. The old filter was only six years old from installation date and the crack started the fourth year.So we receive the new filter and find out that we can't easily hook it up.
