Clear no algae :) Worth spending extra money my pool was struggling, it is now crystal blue after a few days. My previous filter was really bad. I normally would spend the same amount to have someone install the filter for me as I paid for this filter. I easily installed it myself and didn't spend more. Interested in seeing how long it will hold up in south Florida. It is for my Hayward pump so it fit perfectly instructions for figuring out the size or how to identify size was available.
fits perfect good purchase. fit's perfect. was much less expensive than the pool store near me. will buy again.

Great Pool Filter Nice filter, works great.
Top quality, bargain price. It has its eccentricities but in general when their engineers sought to knock off US filters they must have examined a half dozen because there are subtleties from many of the brands I've worked with. This thing is robust in most ways, strangely delicate in others, and for no reason. Best of all, if you're patient and careful it goes back together with the fit of a Chinese box and IT DOESN'T LEAK !!! Much more better than my pentair filter I bought this to replace my pentair DE filter I was impressed on what type of filter it had that says it filter down to two microns just as good as the DE filter and I understand the replacement filters are a little high price but if it filters is good it's worth it As for the housing it feel just as good and durable as my $18,000 pentair So far I'm impressed .my DE filter once again broke an all DE in my pool last time with my new DE filter it took at least a week to clean up this fil... read more
Water is clear and Pool stays clean Got this to replace Pentair Quad D.E. 60 filter. Having issues of D.E going back into the pool and always having to back wash and add D.E. water always cloudy.Installed this Filter and my water is perfect. Easy to install and maintain, Great Product and great price.

It works! My original review was 2 stars for how it arrived with some of the parts outside the box and the fact that one of the o rings missing, which kept it from working properly. After reaching out to the seller for help, and many back and forth messages that each took at least 1 or 2 days to get responses, we finally received the replacement o ring at no extra cost.Now, my final score is 4 stars as we've discovered that while it is functional, it's not very easy to maintain as the parts themselves are difficult to disass... read more
