Replacement pump Had the same pump for about 3.5 years and it died. We are assume it died because it was getting direct sunlight in the peak of summer days and finally overheated. I ordered this to replace it and wired it back in and all set to go.
Not 2 speed, but quiet. The pump I received is very quiet, but does not appear to be 2 speed - at least according to the documentation. It is wired as a single speed, and has no switch or wiring for external 2-speed control. It replaced a very old Jandy 1HP, and the power bill is still the same.
