it was very easy. It works great and definitely saves energy My husband assembled it himself, it was very easy. It works great and definitely saves energy.
Not 2 speed, but quiet. The pump I received is very quiet, but does not appear to be 2 speed - at least according to the documentation. It is wired as a single speed, and has no switch or wiring for external 2-speed control. It replaced a very old Jandy 1HP, and the power bill is still the same.
