Develops a Leak Bought this item last year and was happy with the ease of installation and the additional suction power I got by going from a 1.0 to 1.5 HP motor. Started fine this year but in a couple of days noticed a leak at the bottom where the motor connects to the rest of the housing. Tightened the 8 bolts with no luck. Went back and read reviews and found a number of people with the the same issue. Searched for repair information or replacement parts such as a gasket but found none. Not 2 speed, but quiet. The pump I received is very quiet, but does not appear to be 2 speed - at least according to the documentation. It is wired as a single speed, and has no switch or wiring for external 2-speed control. It replaced a very old Jandy 1HP, and the power bill is still the same.
