Hi Craig, We appreciate you sharing your experience and we’re sorry your heat pump is taking longer than you’d like to heat up. Heat pumps transfer heat from the surrounding environment to the pool like a swamp cooler. Heat pumps are most effective at the "triple 80" mark - 80 degrees air temp, 80 degrees water temp, and 80% relative humidity.
