High value, low cost. Very happy with this product. I have not had it in use yet, but it appears to be exactly what we needed.
Works great. This thing works great and doesn't leak a drop. Anyone who has problems with this probably didn't tighten everything properly. I used it for an entire season with polyester balls and my water was crystal clear the entire time.
Better than cartridge filters for pools up to 16 x 32 I have installed dozens of sand filters in my career, usually replacing cartridge and DE filters.I have always used Pacfab or Triton, but those are pretty pricey.This one is affordable and great for smaller pools and keeps the water clearer than the cartridge filter did.It's a LOT LESS WORK to backwash this filter than it is to remove and hose off a cartridge filter.I can only guess why cartridge filters are so popular in pool stores... sand filter last for many years, no... read more

Sand filter perfect The sand filter is the perfect size for my hot tub if it's perfectly in a small space. It is built of good quality and the price was very reasonable. It functions good and is set up easily.
Works amazing! I normally don’t write a review for anything. Actually this is my first time. I have got to say this filter is amazing. I purchased the 16” filter and filled it with 100lbs of sand. At first I was a little annoyed because the instructions are horrible but a quick YouTube video cleared it all up.Once assembled I let it run for 12 hours. Bad product and terrible support This company does not support their products. I ordered this filter alone with their 2HP variable speed pump. Since day one I not had a clean pool bottom. I am an experienced pool owner and decided to replace my 20 year old equipment.I should also note that the documentation is lacking and there is no explination for the relief line that floats above the sand and allows for unfiltered water to get back into the pool. Plastic laterals don't hold up, disassembled twice in 7 years, gave up and replaced it. The plastic "pop-on" laterals have a catch that locks them into place. After 7 years the little plastic "tang"s are breaking off since cheap plastic. Without them the water pressure will push lateral enough in it's mounting track to let sand in. I had one leaking when filter was only a couple years old, had to empty unit of sand and reassemble the laterals. This time two had broken catches and had sand inside the lateral tubes.
