I am very happy with JC Animal Hospital, Dr. Allen and the staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. I appreciate their willingness to answer questions and the level of respect they have for my wishes for my pets’ care. My daughter lives in Chicago and her pup saw Dr. Allen when she was staying with me. We are so happy with the care all our animals receive, she is now a patient too and will be scheduling her appointments during future visits to Jefferson City.
My cat was very sick with borderline Mega Colon. He was shaking, dehydrated from vomiting so much, panting, and straining with no bowel movements. He was in so much pain, I was turned away from two other Vet clinics saying they were booked up and there wasn't anything they could give my cat as he was right there meowing in pain. The JC Animal Hospital got my cat in ASAP and gave him fluids, an X-Ray and an enema right away. In the 10 years I’ve lived here, Jefferson City Animal Hospital has brought all three of my dogs into perfect health. They are compassionate and understanding of just not my babies needs, but also my need of explanation and understanding. Would highly recommend. Their pricing is very affordable compared to other veterinary services in this city and the care is above and beyond any other services I have used here.
I brought my dog here for a second opinion. The Doc got right to work and found a misdiagnosis almost immediately. Sadly my boy was too far gone and didn't come home. Thanks to the staff for finding the truth and not letting him suffer anymore. Everyone was kind and respectful. I don't think that I would have found that quality of bedside manner at another office.
I am a retires senior on, you guess it, a fixed income. Most clinics are very expensive beyond my budget. I was extremely happy to find Jefferson City Animal Hospital. Their rates are very reasonable, the staff is friendly and welcoming and the vet i met with was very caring and gentle with my pet. He made sure all my questions were answered and was thorough in his information. I have found my forever veterinary clinic.
