I started with Jeffrey Veldman in some of the darkest times of my life. Jeffrey was able to aid me in overcoming my anxiety and depression. I credit my journey back to "normal" to him. Jeffrey was patient with me and tried medications that he believed would only benefit me. Once the right medications were established, he worked diligently on maintaining my mental health and creating an atmosphere that was very welcoming to move forward. Extremely professional while also maintaining an excellent bedside manner. Jeffery was able to work with me to finally come up with a treatment plan with better results than as my other prescriber I've had in the last twenty years. Jeffery gave me my life back after I was on the verge of giving up on everything for good. Anyone who chooses Jeffrey as their NP is going to be in very good hands.
Dr. Veldman is a good psychiatrist that will listen to you and not just slap you with medication or be quick to say you have all sorts of problems just to get you on medication. He'll ask you questions to get to underlying problems that you may not even be aware of that are causing you issues. I also prefer someone who tells me things for what it is and not sugar-coat everything just to get on my good side, because that shows that person cares.
Dr. Jeff Veldman has been great to work with. He has been very helpful in my son’s progress. He’s been insightful for both my son and I. He truly cares about his patients. He can put my son’s mind at ease and relates with him well. We are very grateful for him.
