The tech who measured my eyes in the Zeiss lens apparatus and in the room was amazing. Phil made me feel so at ease, even though I was pretty nervous. The Docs were great, too , but Phil was the star!
I was professionally and personally welcomed by each person I met from the receptionist, technician Jennifer, Doctor Doane and finally the surgeon coordinator Laura. It was my first visit to this practice, but by the time I left I felt like I had been a patient for years. It was one of the most awesome, informative, problem solving experiences I have had for a long time.
Everyone was great. Had Dr. Doane do my lasik 24 years ago. He’s now doing LPL on my eyes. Flew 5000 miles to come see him and him do my LPL surgery.
Dr Doane was very careful and thorough with my examination. He explained my condition so it was easy to comprehend. He listened to what I had to say. He suggested a plan to help my eye heal as quick as possible. With a back up plan if my eye doesn't cooperate. I would go back to Dr. Doane anytime. He was great.
From the front desk's friendliness and patience while I dug around for my insurance card, Nicky running the preliminary tests and then to Dr. Doane's evaluation and time, I felt very well cared for and look forward to implementing the recommended cataract surgery and lens replacement.
I learned a lot about why there was a problem with my vision. I had a short surgery (same day) to correct the left eye lens. Later we will decide on the right eye, if it requires a new replacement lens. At first I thought my sight was as good as it would get, but perhaps now, it can be better. He is a very good doctor whom I would recommend to anyone. I was also impressed with the women that assisted in my care.
I’m so impressed with Dr Doane and the entire staff. Caring and efficient with a real focus on their patients care. I have opted for the light adjustable lens to achieve the best possible outcome. I do wish it was less expensive but feel my vision is worth the investment. I highly recommend Discover!
After a lifetime of eye services, (began at age 10, now age 61) without a doubt, Dr. Doane is absolutely the best ophthalmologist from whom I have ever received treatment. He is supremely knowledgeable, genuinely kind, and open to discussion.
The office visit was timely, Jennifer was great. Dr.Doane answered my questions and treatment was done very efficiently. Total time from arrival to discharge was all excellent.
