Had an amazing experience here, the new management really cares for all the patients and knows them all by name. It felt relieving to interact with staff members who weren't just kind, but excited to be there and work with you during rehab. I found out they also like to dance and sing which made me laugh. The lighting inside and newer construction is also very peaceful, I definitely recommend.

Do not send your loved one to this facility. They treated my father with disrespect to say the least. He was there with a broken hip and the care was terrible, to put it mildly. The physical therapy was good but that was limited. Now their visiting hours are very limited...beware. We didn't see the reviews prior to allowing the hospital to send him to that hell hole.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! My mother had an anoxic brain injury which required her to receive full care in a skilled nursing facility. Mom has a trach, a feeding tube and limited mobility.  While in the hospital (1/1/20-5/14/20) she was labeled a fall risk because she can move her legs well but not her upper body/core. When arriving at JIPA (5/14/20), they put her in a bed without rails and took her off the fall risk because they thought she was a quadriplegic. For anyone reading this, or for anyone navigating the complicated system of finding a long term or short term stay for their loved ones, be warned. The positive reviews you read are likely fabricated. I am a medical student and have many years of experience working in both behavioral and mental health care. My review comes with years of understanding what it takes to provide quality care.
