I cannot say enough about the staff at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford, CT. I was taken into ER, staff was amazing and kind. I was admitted and the nurses, doctors as well at the CAT scan, MRI teams were amazing as I am very claustrophobic and they talked me through every step. Everyone was so kind, from the receptionist, security, nurses, doctors, to the cleaning staff. Honestly, had never felt more cared for in an emergency room. They were thoughtful and patient. Even when I overheard other patients giving them a hard time, they remained calm and caring. Thank you for taking care of me when I didn’t feel well!
My husband was taken to a room immediately. The nurse, Michael, was so good to us. Kept us informed about tests being run. Everyone was attentive and friendly. The Dr checked in with us multiple times. We had a prescription ready at our pharmacy by the time we left the ER.
I live in Columbus and I’ve had really bad experiences with CRH, so I decided to try Johnson Memorial Hospital one time and I loved it! Let me tell you why. The staff and ER doctors there don’t care if you have insurance or not, if you're rich or not. They truly focus on your health. They did all the tests they thought were necessary, explained everything to me step by step, and made sure I understood what was going on and why. I had no issues except the security woman in the isolated area downstairs. I am 65 years old and spoken to rudely by her. The young man was perfectly fine to me! And nurses were very nice and polite.
