From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with kindness, professionalism, and respect. The nurses, doctors, and support staff were caring, attentive, and made me feel comfortable during a stressful situation. They took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure I received excellent care

The entire ER staff was pleasant; each of them treated me as a human, whose words mattered. Their caring attitudes went a long way toward creating trust in an unplanned and uncomfortable situation. Not so incidentally: I was only in the ER because a provider in the NeuroPsych department listened carefully to information I gave her during a routine appointment. I credit her intervention for my current state of health and awareness.

From front end to 'feel better soon', the staff, nurses, Dr., X-ray tech, phlebotomist and EMT student were WONDERFUL. I was recommended that facility despite other hospitals being closer. I went to Johnson Memorial Hospital ER on April 23 early morning 1 AM. With severe pain my lower left side and nausea. I have had a kidney stones before and have suspected it was the case as I told the Dr. I express the severe pain that I was in and requested pain medication which I didn’t receive until my third hour in the ER. In addition, I requested Water, which I never received. My husband had to go out to the car to get water bottle.i had a CT done and was told there were no stones. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The ER Doctor & nurses were some of the best. Only wish they could handle more serious cases. i.e. heart attacks, etc,. Saint Francis ER is like a zoo and the staff is not very friendly. I was there 11 years ago when I was being treated for cancer and developed a problem late at night. Was there fore three hours and walked out and came back home.. I do hope Saint Francis ER has improved since then, Johnson Memorial is the "BEST"
