Following a really bad experience with Timpson’s (I am aware the own Johnson’s)- I went to Hinckley Johnson’s. Autumn the shop manager was really friendly and helpful. I received a text within 24 hours of dropping my dry cleaning off to say that it was ready. No problems whatsoever- really good friendly service.
Update**** Following my complaint, customer services got in touch. They were shocked to find the item had been returned to me with the poor alteration and promised to do everything in their power to rectify it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and convinced me to return the jacket. They turned the work around within 4 days and I can happily say the workmanship is faultless. Had help with steaming/pressing some curtains this week, to get crease mark out at the bottom. Lady in the shop was really helpful and job got done quickly while we waited. Great service, thank you.
I took a Hobbs dress into the store to cleaned and pressed. When I got it back it did not look as though nothing had been done! The dress was still badly creased. Literally nothing had been done! I also took some trousers in for alteration, shortening. I could have done a better job myself. Very disappointed with the quality of service.
The staff are really friendly. I was really impressed with the service as I took a 3 piece suit in to be dry cleaned on a friday. I was asked when I wanted it ready for and I said Tuesday, I received a message I could pick it up on the Sunday. Definitely recommend.
