My experience with this office and Dr Hunter specifically has been great! Dr Hunter took very good care of me during surgery (full mouth pocket reduction, done in four appointments) she constantly asked if I was ok and/or comfortable, if I needed more freezing she was quick to act and she sang to the songs on the radio which actually helped ease my nerves. The procedure itself wasn't pleasant but Dr Hunter and her assistant really helped me through it. Very professional and caring office overall.
I was referred to Johnstone Periodontics by my dentist due to receding gums, and was recommended by Dr. Hunter to do one gum graft. It was definitely one of the more intense dental procedures I have had to go through, but thankfully Dr. Hunter and her staff were friendly and professional, and they made the procedure as well as the post-op go super smoothly. Thank you to all of you for your amazing work!
I can’t say enough good things about this office to all my friends and family. I am a total chicken when it comes to dentistry and when I found out I needed a tooth removed and an implant I was so scared. My long time dentist told me she was referring me to the only person she would let do an implant on her so I thought that was a good sign! I was supposed to see my periodontist today which was booked sometime ago after my hygienist, only to find out that my periodontist was performing a surgery so she cannot see me. I was disappointed with this experience. The clinic should have a better booking system, since I was properly booked. I am able to pay the annual exam, but I guess surgery is more important and profitable than a regular exam. I was offered that I book in 6 months to see her, but I turned it down.
