I was greeted by a friendly front desk, I was called to my room quickly, nurse came in immediately, went over my med list, took vitals, & was very friendly. Dr. Chong came in quickly, I told him what was going on, he showed interest, asking questions. He's a very compassionate, dedicated doctor. My husband & I are very grateful to have him as our doctor.
Found out that my insurance is not covered at this facility having Select Health. Other than that my care visit was excellent today.
He listens and is so very thorough and was very much appreciated.
My second visit with him, the first was to establish as a patient. He is knowledgeable and not only explains but listens and is willing to consider and discuss any reservations or concerns regarding treatment. When I was still on the fence regarding taking a statin again, he suggested starting at half the previous dose. Some docs get upset if you question things, but he works with you.
Dr. Joshua Chong was great, spent good amount of time and very polite and helpful! This was my second or third visit over the years with him. Although, this trip I was dissatisfied with the wait in the exam room, it was close to an hour. I understand the office may have been busy, but my time is important too. Would be 5-Star if not for the long wait.

I genuinely like Dr. Chong. He didn't know much about my condition but as a generalist I don't hold that against him. I was diagnosed with cancer under his care in early December and hospitalized with major surgery twice as a result. I only received any contact from Dr. Chong's office in late March after my surgeon asked if I had heard from him - even though I had all of my medical records sent to his office.
